We went to see 'Chicago' last night in Seattle. And I'm sorry Joanna, but I hated it! I struggled to stay awake! The set was static and uninspiring, the music equally so, and despite some good singing and acting it failed to move me at all. G felt the same, as did our friends. The highlight of the evening was going the pub afterwards.
This morning I am mostly exhausted. It's been a busy week socially (can't complain). I went out on Friday night with a bunch of girl friends to a couple of bars in downtown Seattle and got in very late. Last night we got in around 1am, and I've had to be up early to take the kids to their swimming lessons. Also, every minute of the week prior was also filled with activity with friends. Next week promises to be similar, and I'm constantly quite amazed by how hectic life has become since moving here, there never seems to be a minute to sit down and worry about having nothing to do. I am obviously not complaining about this!
