31 Weeks

According to my pregnancy weekly newsletter

Your baby measures about 16 inches long. He weighs a little over 3 pounds and is headed for another growth spurt. He can turn his head from side to side. Of course, he doesn't yet understand that this movement means "no," but you'll be surprised how quickly he picks up on that and other gestures after he's born. The fat layer he's been accumulating for the last few weeks has caused his arms and legs to fill out nicely

Hmmmm, apparently she weighs 4lb and 2oz, lol.

I don't know if I mentioned in the last 5 minutes how dreadfully uncomfortable I've begun to feel? Everything hurts, ligaments, muscles, pelvis, you name it. There is no comfortable position and as soon as I do rest in any position everything seizes up and gets pins and needles or becomes extremely painful.

I tried to have a nap today. G was laying 'levelling compound' on the floor in the room we're now renovating and keeping half an eye on the boys. Unfortunately Harry had other plans for me, coming into the bedroom every 5 minutes, occasionally throwing things at my head, and demanding I read books about large diggers and tractors. Harry has this tendency at the moment to insert the word 'mom' every other word, every 10 seconds too which is just exhausting to even listen to let alone answer - and answers are not actually required. A monologue like this has been running all day

mom look mom a box mom look mom a box mom mom look mom a box mom mom its a big box mom a big box mom mom i want juice mom mom juice mom wheres my cup mom there it is mom ok mom lets go mom yum juice mom ok mom you going to sleep mom ok mom you sleep mom lets read a book mom look its got diggers and tractors in it mom lets go shopping mom i want to go in the car mom mom? lets go mom come on mom im ready mom......

I lost it with G and D earlier who were finding this all terribly funny and encouraging him to say mom even more often than this, and doing it themselves too. While I can stand it from a 2 yr old, I cannot stand them doing it!!
