Feeling not all that bad..

My bump, I reckon, has shrunk a bit. Thanks to giving up sugar I think the amniotic fluid levels have gone down slightly. I'll have to wait until the scan to prove it but I'm pretty sure it has. It's alot more comfortable than it was (other than the incessant need to pee which has started). My back isn't as bad either.... the only thign really bothering me now is the pelvic pain which can be quite excrutiating at times (like right now) but Tylenol does seem to help a little at least. I also feel alot better in myself. I'm tired, but not too bad. Fingers crossed it stays that way for the next 4.5 weeks.

Today I even went out all day - something I've not felt like doing in what feels like weeks if not months. Harry and I went into town where they've put this new hands on touchy-feely educational play area for kids. It's conveniently beside Tullys coffee so I grabbed a (nonfat decaf) latte and sat in the sunshine watching him play nicely with a couple of other boys for a good hour and a half.

We then went for lunch at a diner he likes - it has a train running around a track on the ceiling. After lunch we popped to the mall to Nordstrom to buy him some summer sandals....... I ended up getting 2 pairs, a 'nice' pair of Geox and a 'play' pair which are waterproof and can be kicked around in. With barely time to take a breath we got Dylan from school and then went back to Nordstrom to get him a pair too! Harry is very impressed that he has a pair of 'red shoes!' and Dylan has a pair of 'blue shoes!'. A quick stop at Target on the way home to get some supplies and I'm absolutely buggered.

Off Topic - how does one know when ones child is ready to be night time toilet trained? Harry has been dry 5 nights out of 4 and runs to the potty when he wakes up for a wee.

Mine were toilet trained at night as soon as they were dry in the day (a few minor accidents and a plastic sheet)Lifting them at about middnight or when you go to bed

xx good luck
