Oh yes, and

Today = 34 weeks.

This means:

2 more weeks of Lovenox shots
2 more weeks of Baby Aspirin
2 more weeks of Toprol

(I am going to rattle a bit less with 2 fewer pills to take every night).

The benefit of stopping the Lovenox and Baby Aspirin is that I shall have fewer bruises, and my stomach won't look like I've been hit by a speeding truck. The downside of stopping Lovenox is that I have to replace it with not one but TWO daily shots of 'regular' Heparin. At least regular Heparin comes with a far far smaller finer needle, hence the lesser bruising. The other downside to regular Heparin is remembering to take it every 12 hours, I can barely remember to do the one shot.

I have a scan this week too. I'll be interested to see the baby's progress in terms of growth and amniotic fluid levels since I gave up sugar.

Christ, there's only 4 weeks to go. AND SO MUCH TO DO!

I am starting to feel a little like I did when I was having Harry now though - i.e. content, fairly happy with being pregnant, watching the last few weeks speed by like nobody's business, excited and apprehensive. I've thankfully already started to forget how bloody awful I've felt for large spells over the last 34 weeks.... because I feel pretty good right now (except for the agonizing pelvic pain). Beginning to get nervous about the c-section though. Yikes.
